TIASNIMBAS BUSINESS SCHOOL STAYS FIRMLY IN TOP 100 WITH
THE FINANCIAL TIMES’S GLOBAL FT MBA RANKINGS 2010

In the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2010, TiasNimbas Business School continues to sit firmly
in the Top 100. As there are some 10.000 business schools worldwide and new schools attempt to
enter the Top 100 every year, this is a good achievement.
The specific results that jump out are that TiasNimbas has a strong 11th position on Value for Money
globally and even 7th in Europe, which in the recession and with the increasing percentage of selffunders
is a vital rank position. Also international mobility was ranked at 30th place, which is essential
for the global environment of most students’ positions. TiasNimbas also attracted a relatively high
percentage of female students (30%), which reinforces our clear commitment to diversity.
Furthermore, it is important to point out that TiasNimbas continues to make improvements. As a
great number of last year’s students can confirm, large‐scale investment in Career services has paid
off in the current recession, through the involvement of the Hay Group as provider of both personal
development support and career guidance. In addition to that the leading recruitment platform CVTools
was implemented. This enables an easy linking of qualified students to the employer of their
choice. On top of this the FT MBA programme content has been significantly updated with, for
example, significant focus on new style leadership which prepares MBA students for change of any
kind i.e. professional, social or personal.
